School participated in the Shaheed Rajpal D.A.V. Public School Essay Writing Competition

Kusum Negi won a Consolation Prize.
A rally of about 400 students was organized on the occasion of National Education Day on 11th Nov’08 . the students of class VIII and IX participated in the rally.
A workshop on paper recycling and composting was conducted by CEE for about 120 students on 4th Nov. A Composting pit has been constructed in the school flowerbed.
20 students participated in the A quiz Competition organized by National Museum of Natural History on 21st Nov 2008

- Selection of 5 Models and teaching aids for State level Science Exhibition.
- Won first and second prize in recitation and slogan writing competitions in zonal levels.
- Won prizes in art and embroidery competitions
- Won bronze, silver and gold medal in Mahatama Gandhi Gold Cup - Jeet- Kune-Do, Inter School Martial Art Championship held on 2-10-2001.
- Best state entry in Camlin Art competition.
- First prize in declamation contest in Delhi School organized by National Museum of Natural History.

The Eco club Incharge Ms. Monika Kapahi attended the following seminars
- Water conservation and water recycling on 24th March 2008 at Delhi Secretariat
- A visit to Asola Wildlife Sanctuary was organized for about 65 students on 27th Sep 2008
- Seminar organized by CEEIE CENTRE FOR ENVIRONMENT EDUCATION on promoting environmentally sound campuses in New Delhi
- Training programme on 7th and 8th August 2008
- Six of our students attended the programme organized by Indian Environment Society on 16th Sept 2008
- Attended a CEE workshop at Apeejay School Saket on 30th Aug 2008
- A participation certificate by the Indian Environmental Society
- Certificate were awarded to students by the Australian High Commission for participating in the ‘Clean The World’ campaign
- Isha Mahajan won Consolation prize ( cash prize of Rs 5000/- in an essay writing Competition on ocassion of Akshay Urja Diwas.
- Kalgya won second prize in poster makin competition organsised by WWF. The participants were Keshav Sharma XII Varidh Katiyar XII
