History

Adarsh Shiksha Niketan (ASN) was established in 1975 by Shri K. L. Luthra, an eminent, dedicated and inspired educationist. The school is run by Sanatan Dharm Adarsh Shiksha Sansthan, a Govt. registered educational society. It is a Co-Educational English Medium School, recognized by the Directorate of Education, Delhi Admninistration, and affiliated to C.B.S.E.

The school had its humble beginning at Shahdara, in 1975.

Growing strength to strength, by 1989, it has risen to the level of Senior Secondary School with all the three streams: Science, Commerce and Humanities. In 1991, it was shifted to a plot allotted by D.D.A measuring 3.4 acres at Mayur Vihar-I, Delhi - 91. Looking into the growing need of the working parents of the vicinity, a school with DAY BOARDING facilities for primary classes was founded at Pkt.- IV Mayur Vihar-I in the year 1997.

The grand four-storeyed building of ASN Sr. Sec. SCHOOL remains an exclusive piece of fine architecture in terms of its design, colossal structure, elegance and aesthetics with a well knit infrastructure.

It includes an auditorium, open air theatre, indoor stadium, well equipped I.T. and Science labs, libraries, medical center and a hygienic canteen. The spacious classrooms and big activity halls are provided with modern gadgets, a Saraswati mandir and gym club. Our Nursery wing is facilitated with separate resource centre equipped with multi-media, audio-visual equipments such as LCD, O.H.P and V.C.D, toys, playing equipments and the latest teaching aids.

ASN School continues to lead the way in the field of education. It has progressed the task of imparting an education, which is not only modern in its approach but is also based on the ideals and rich culture of our country. The school has earned laurels and a good reputation for its ideals and standard of education in Delhi.
